I have launched a google code project called RadTools. It's a place where I can post my collection of useful tools I use to make my application development a little faster and easier. My first tool is a PureMVC template for Flash Develop 3. I've had these project and file templates on my PC for months. Now I am able to give them an official home where they can be maintained. I have a WebOrb .NET project template for Flash Develop as well but its not quite ready but as soon as its done I will create a zip file (translate)

Adobe MAX Was Great

Adobe MAX was a great time this year. I was able to meet a bunch of people in the community, share knowledge, and just have a good time in general. Thanks to everyone that made it all possible. MAX was a great event. This was my first MAX, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were lots of great sessions, lots of great people, and one heck of a reception. Below you'll find the content of my MAX presentation "Adobe AIR++". You may be wondering why I chose the name "AIR++"... Well, my common theme was pushing the limits of what you think AIR is capable of; hence the "++" suffix akin to the "increment" operator many programming languages. My major focus was on presenting concepts how you can get the most out of your AIR applications, as well (translate)

MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 Beta Coming Soon

4 days ago the MSXML Team announced that they are getting ready to release the MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 Beta very soon. Unfortunately no dates, so no one knows when to expect. Also i remained unclear why when MS released MSXML6 we still need to have MSXML4? What I'm missing? MSXML4 SP3 is a complete replacement of previous MSXML 4.0 service packs. The new service pack includes: A number of security bug fixes Reliability improvements The Beta will be available on Microsoft Download Center in the very near future.  The RTM release is scheduled in the next few months. I have just volunteered to help host the monthly Flash User Group meetings here in Seattle! I've helped out with a few before, but I'll be doing it regularly now. They are a great group of people with some great designs and ideas. If you're in the area and want to see what it's all about, feel free to join!
